I received a twitter message last week from German illustrator Marika Herzog (aka demoniacalchild) letting me know she had some new work up on her deviantART page. She’s been using Copic Markers a while and has a lot of skill and control. She is currently working on the second part of her Grimoire manga series. Check out her other pictures. I have been following Marika as a fellow illustrator, and friend, and seeing her work blossom like it has over the long time I’ve known her is just a treat. She is a wonderful artist, with amazing handling of quality of lines, composition and Copic markers. I can only keep striding to become better in my own marker work as I look to hers for inspiration.

Marika is a wonderful Copic Marker artist. She did a workshop with Copics and Copic Airbrush. It was a lot of fun, because she knows a lot about this stuff.
